The summer has flown by. In August the library presented a program with antique appraiser John Bottero, and wrapped up the summer reading for children with a fun party. Plans are underway for a busy fall and winter. The passes to the Boothbay Railway Village can be used until October 16, so if you haven't taken an excursion to the museum there is still time.

September 5- Labor Day- the library will be closed.
September 9 -Friday- the parking lot is scheduled to be paved. The library will be closed while this is ongoing.
September 12- Monday @ 7:00- Bill Mook presentation on Ocean Acidification and the effect on aquaculture businesses in Maine.
September 19- Monday @ 3:00- Book group meeting- "Flapper: a Madcap Story of Sex, Style...."  by Joshua Zeitz is the book we will discuss.

There will be three Coastal Senior College classes taught at the library this fall. On Monday morning, Friday morning and Friday afternoon.

Boothbay Railway Village- The library has purchased a pass to the Boothbay Railway Village that may be used by library members for  free admission for two adults and all children or grandchildren accompanying them. Call or stop in at the library for information on using the pass for a family summer adventure.  Visit  for a calendar of events at the village.
