April showers bring May flowers- and the Bremen Library Plant Sale!
Saturday May 16, 9:00 AM until NOON
The prolonged cold grey weather has tried the patience of Maine gardeners. All we need are a few warm days for plants and gardens to come alive. The Bremen Library is bravely holding the annual plant sale on May 16, knowing that those plants that still have not emerged from a winter underground, will come to life in time to be dug for the sale. There will be plants donated from local gardens, as well as specialty plants from several area growers.

And inside of the library there will be a sale of gently used books in a wide range of genres, as well as delicious baked goods from local kitchens.  The indoor sale of books and baked goods opens at 8:30. Come early for the best selection of books and goodies. This is a great time to stock up for books for your summer reading, or to have on hand to share with your summer guests.

Book Group The book group will not meet in May (the members will be out in their gardens digging plants for the plant sale). The June meeting will be held on Monday June 8. Members will bring a favorite book about cooking or food writing to share with the group.

Monday Nights @ the Library- No May program.
