May Events Stephen & Tabitha King Grant The Bremen Library is pleased to announce that we have received a grant from the Stephen & Tabitha King Foundation. The grant has been used to replace the carpets in the library. Our old worn brown carpets have been in place since the library was built. Thanks to the generous help of the King foundation we are delighted to be able to replace them with carpets that will brighten the library.The library was closed on Monday April 29, and Wednesday May 1,to have the rugs installed. We hope you will come see our new look in May. And many thanks to Stephen & Tabitha King for all they do to help libraries in the state of Maine. Monday Nights @ the Library May 6- Wanda Garland talk about wildflowers has been postponed until June. Plant Sale/ Used Books/ Bake Sale- May 18 The annual plant sale will take place on Saturday May 18. There will be a large selection of plants dug from local gardens, as well as used books and baked goods for sale. The Book Sale is inside the library and the doors open at 8:30.
